2026 presents the opportunity to come and make this fabulous ‘Row by Row’ quilt here at The Stitching Post.
Guided by Kelly you will be introduced to 27 skill building techniques - all of which will culminate in this stunning quilt. Techniques will include; foundation paper piecing, dresden plates, applique and so much more. All while working in pieced rows - rather than the traditional block. The course will also include sashing, quilting and binding - so ensuring that you have a finished quilt by the end of the course.
This addictive pattern also lends itself to using up small remnants - the perfect stash buster! It is also adaptable - rows can be made smaller resulting in a smaller project, the applique row could be made more personable with your own special design, favourite rows could be repeated - there is a lot of scope.
This course is for quilters with some patchwork experience.
Sessions will run monthly on Monday afternoon 1.30 - 4.30pm . If for any reason you cannot make a date every effort will be made to offer you time in another class that month.
The dates are as follows - 12th January, 9th February, 9th March, 13th April, 11th May, 8th June, 13th July, 3rd August, 7th September, 5th October, 9th November and 7th December.
Payment - reserve your place now on the class by booking through the website (this will then be the January payment.) After that a standing order will need to be set up with a commitment to pay £30 a month (from Feb - Dec 26). After booking your first session Kelly will then send you confirmation of the class and bank details.
All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note.
