The Florence Quilt is based on a traditional medallion quilt. Designed in collaboration with Karen from Sunflower Stitches, this medallion quilt will take you through many different techniques - applique, flying geese, pinwheels and two different pieced star formations.

A medallion quilt is built outwards from a single central block - surrounded by successive borders. So this time, instead of completing the quilt in blocks or rows, we will be piecing in ‘rounds’ all based around the central middle block.

This quilt will be taught over a period of nine months - on a Wednesday afternoon 2pm - 5pm.

Dates for the class are as follows - 14th October, 11th November, 9th December, 13th January, 10th February, 24th March, 28th April, 12th May and 9th June.

There will be 2 options for the quilt kits available - either the one from The Stitching Post (as in photo) or the kit from Sunflower Stitches. At the time of booking just let me know which one you are interested in and we can organise that for you.

If you are taking the class and going for my fabric combination then that will be reduced to £25 a month for you (plus the £30 tuition fee.)

All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house.

If, for any unforseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
