Come and spend the morning learning how to make clamshells. This english paper pieced method is perfect for scrap busting and the finished result is so very pleasing.

Kelly will show you how to make the perfect curved edge and then how to sew the clam shells together. The clamshells can then be used either to make a cushion, or even a border for a quilt. Completely hand sewn.

Fabric requirements will be emailed out nearer to the date of the class. Paper pieces and templates will be provided.

All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house. If you are bringing your own sewing machine to the class we will be on hand to help carry it down to the studio - please just ask for help!

If, for any unforeseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
