Come and try this fun and versatile ‘quilt as you go’ technique. Perfect for using up fabric remnants - they just need to be in strips!

Kelly will demonstrate how to make a simple block using lengths of fabrics - including how to quilt them as you go. Further hand quilting can be added if desired.

You will also be shown how to join the blocks to make one quilt or throw.

You will need to bring along your sewing machine and some fabrics to incorporate within your piece. More details will be sent out in a confirmation email nearer the time.

Please note that these strip quilts work really well as memory quilts - and old shirts lend themselves beautifully to a quilt made using this technique.

All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house.

If, for any unforseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
